Possibility Model takes its starting point from moments of miscommunication. Using methodologies and motifs borrowed from the language of instructional display, institutional architecture and self help frameworks, both artists pull together culturally recognisable objects, images and ephemera to suggest at the rendering of new, and often formatted narratives. The complexities of desire and disaffection are merged to construct a rhythmically fractured survey that looks for new systems within pre-set, hermetic structures of organisation. By using porous and liquid agents, the works begin to mimic and form new models, exposing the inconsistencies of controlled environments.
